MarketOne Builders, Inc. was selected by Rubicon Partners to manage the renovation and modernization of this historic Sacramento landmark. Originally built in the early 1900's, this 14-story, 108,000 s.f. masterpiece had been severly neglected for years before its current ownership embarked upon a complete infrastructure replacement. The interior finishes of the building are being completely demolished by MarketOne Builders, Inc.'s own in-house demolition crew while plans are being finalized for the installation of complete new electrical, fire alarm, mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems. MarketOne Builders, Inc. in concert with the Owner and Architect successfully navigated the project through the approval process with the local building department, relying heavily upon the State Historical code and the undeniable proof that a complete renovation to current high-rise code would be cost prohibitive. The glamour and prescence of this building has lent itself to be considered by a well-known boutique hotelier as a viable candidate to become Sacramento premier historic hotel.
