Gregory Mountain Products, the leader in backpack technology in the competitive outdoor industry, relocated their headquarters to Sacramento in early 2008. Their new location occupies a truly ‘one of a kind’ office space in the newly renovated 1414 K Street project by AKT Properties. The ground floor tenant space is a voluminous two-story open office environment complimented by the exposed concrete and brick structure of the building. The space presented many design considerations not typically discussed in your standard tenant improvements. Exposed surfaces, large skylights and existing conditions made for special improvements related to sound, comfort and lighting.
