Groomed with a strong commitment to owner satisfaction by Rudolph and Sletten (Redwood Shores, CA) in the 1990's, the roommates and good friends embarked on a mission to build a company that listens and understands (relatable), gives back to their community (charitable), does the right thing (integrity), and has the courage to grow, learn and improve (confidence).  These core values are alive and thriving at MarketOne Builders today, and are reinforced by the management team daily.  In fact, they shape every strategic and tactical decision at MarketOne Builders.

Tom Ford

Director of Operations for the company, brings a passion for building and project delivery.   Tom oversees the delivery of our projects, and oversees safety, quality, staffing and the overall timely and successful delivery of our projects.  Tom was educated at California State University Fresno in Construction Management.

James Fitzgerald

Director of Project Development, manages the Business Development, Preconstruction, Estimating, Design-Build, and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) services for the company.  James has worked successfully with clients on strategy, business planning, and project development, helping teams bring concepts to reality.  James was educated at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo in Construction Management, and has been active in Region Builders, Associated Builders & Contractors, the Design-Build Institute of America.  James is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Charles "Carlie" Hernandez

As Project Executive / Bay Area Manager, Carlie will manage the company's Bay Area operations and oversee the Concord office.

Carlie has more than 28 years of experience in the construction and project management industry, including 15 years with Rudolph & Sletten, Inc. His background as a general contractor, construction manager, and owner’s representative on major healthcare projects and campuses makes him a valuable resource where multiple stakeholders work closely together for a successful outcome. Carlie is experienced in integrating and managing large project teams, controls, and planning; constructability issues and value added reviews; working around critical occupied areas; and developing and implementing the project executive plan. He is a board member of the Santa Clara University Bronco Builders Association, a member of the Lean Construction Institute (LCI).
